For this exercise using the story map was incredibly easy, the only issue was that it stopped allowing me to type in coordinates so I had to manually attempt to click on it. I enjoyed using this form of history telling, the way that is incredibly engaging and visually stimulating can be very beneficial when explaining historical events. This is far more engaging than traditional written history story telling, I was brief in my use of the story map but I am thoroughly impressed it looks very professional and with the images and. seamless addition of videos from YouTube it really adds to it. I would absolutely use this medium of history storytelling to teach some form of historical events.
The challenges with this medium is that it has to be very surface level in nature to keep it engaging or it will be heavily focused on images and videos, but long writings would defeat the purpose of such an engaging medium.
